1. What we collect
We may collect:
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, delivery or pickup details)
- Order, payment, and GST invoice information (card details are handled by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers)
- Vehicle, fitment, or workshop notes you choose to give us
- Support messages and call records when you contact us
- Technical data such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed
- Cookie and analytics data only where our consent tools allow it — we do not treat “visiting the site” as consent to full tracking
We do not seek to collect sensitive information (for example health or biometric data). Please do not send us that information.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it where required.
2. Why we collect it (purpose)
We use personal information to:
- Take and fulfil orders, including delivery, Sydney warehouse pickup, and returns
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Provide fitment and customer support
- Send transactional messages (order confirmation, dispatch, returns)
- Operate, secure, and improve the website
- Meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations
Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in (for example JOIN THE CAMP). You can unsubscribe at any time. We do not use checkout as implied consent for promotional mail.
3. Overseas disclosure
Some providers store or access information outside Australia. That may include:
- Payment processors (Stripe; PayPal when you pay with PayPal)
- Hosting, content delivery, and security providers (including Cloudflare)
- Analytics providers, only if you have consented (for example Google or Microsoft Clarity where those tags are on)
- Related entities that help us operate and fulfil orders, which may be located outside Australia
We do not sell your personal information. Overseas recipients may not be bound by the APPs in the same way Australian organisations are. If you do not want your information handled in this way, please do not use the site or place an order.
4. Sharing in Australia and generally
We share information only as needed with:
- Carriers and warehouse operators who deliver or hold your goods
- Payment providers named above
- Professional advisers (for example accountants) under confidentiality
- Police, regulators, or courts when the law requires it
Workshop contact details you give us (for example a fitter’s phone number) are used only to arrange that delivery or install discussion.
5. Cookies and analytics
Essential cookies make checkout and security work. Analytics and advertising cookies run only in line with our consent settings. Staging and some environments may have analytics switched off. If a banner or setting says tracking is off, we will not claim that we “fully track” your visit.
6. Retention
We keep order and tax records for as long as Australian law requires (typically at least five years for tax). Support tickets and account notes are kept only as long as needed for the purpose collected, then deleted or irreversibly anonymised where practicable.
7. Access, correction, and complaints
